So in the last month, I got the chance to play with Windows, Linux and Mac for a while (played mostly with Mac as I have Windows and Linux on my system) and here are my initial thoughts after giving everything a fair chance.

Windows 7: Great support for everything but why oh why is the interface annoying me so much??!!
Linux Mint Gnome Edition: Everything works great but it needs a lot of customization. Better games support as well
Mac 10.6.8: You respond and look great but why can’t I install gcc again?

Can you stand by and watch
As someone breaks.
Will you step in and intervene
When the call has not been given.
Or are you too broken yourself
To know what to do.

Is this the true nature of humanity?
To watch and not act.
Yet complain and watch still
When time seems to have stopped.
Funny how things occur this way
Perhaps it’s all part of something bigger
Which leads me to this next question
Is there something greater that lurks in the depths of your heart?

Death is not the beginning or the end
It’s a gateway to another dimension.
If the signs were interpreted right
Then history may repeat itself once again
But the future is not set in stone
And perhaps one day, we can be friends once more.

What will you do at the end of an era?
Will you simply walk away?
Or hold on until the end?
Is such a thing possible?
Is it possible to take something that is damaged beyond repair
And heal it?
Will you let your insecurities overcome you?
As it has overcome so many others.
Or will you look beyond the masks so many wear
And see someone for what they truly are.
Is it possible to look past our own troubles
And take that extra effort?
Not many do and it makes me wonder
Is it possible at all?

I wrote this when I woke from a dream so it may not make complete sense.
